Siran holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Australian National University. She was admitted to practice in both the ACT and New South Wales in 2009.
Siran commenced working at the ACT Magistrates Court in 2007, primarily with Court Services and the Guardianship and Management of Property Tribunal, whilst still completing her studies. In 2008 Siran began work at the ACT Supreme Court, employed as an associate to Justice Hilary Penfold. Following her admission to the roll of legal practitioners in 2009, Siran entered practice with our firm. She brings an extensive knowledge of the ACT court system and its procedure with her to private practice.
Siran is undertaking general practice legal work under the mentorship of Rachel Bird and Tim Sharman. Under Rachel’s guidance, Siran practises in the area of Family and De Facto Law, and also the areas of Wills, Powers of Attorney and contested civil litigation. Under Tim’s guidance, Siran works in the areas of Criminal and Traffic Law, including Protection Order matters. Siran will be undertaking the Australian Institute of Advocacy Workshop as part of her ongoing legal training in March of 2010.
Siran is an avid traveller with extensive life experience for her years. She brings passion and personality to her practise of the law and in achieving the best possible results for her clients.
